What would be the best way for my Doberman to gain healthy weight?

I have a doberman that is a little over a year old. I just took him for his yearly checkup the other day and he is only 58 pounds, which is about 20 pounds under breed standards. The vet said he is very healthy but wants to see more weight on him. I would love some suggestions on how to add healthy weight and muscle mass to my dog.

My personal favorite is a raw diet consisting of at least 75% raw meat and bones (I use chicken, turkey, and rabbit bones and meat from beef, pork, etc.), 10% organ meat (liver, heart, kidney, tripe, etc.) and 15% veggies (ground raw or cooked). I also like any healthy home cooked diets provided they include bone meal for the correct levels of calcium and phosphorus (in the absence of feeding the bones themselves in a raw diet)

That should do it and get his weight up and he will build muscle with raw diet!
