Tips to lose weight and stay fit/active for a teenager?

I need tips on how to lose weight and stay fit/active for a gym project. Some main subtopics are: How to lose stomach and hip fat. thank you

There is no “quick fix” solution when it comes to being healthy and improving fitness. The best thing to stay fit and healthy is to change your lifestyle. This means eating a balanced diet of all the major food groups and eating nutritious foods.

Also exercising is important. Joining a fun, new sports team or going walking everyday will help your endurance levels and help you build up muscle strength.

You don’t have to starve yourself and obsessively over exercise to be healthy because that isn’t good for you at all. What is most important, is to get the balance right so that you are feeling good about yourself, taking care of your body and still have plenty of time for all the fun life has on offer.
